The Vision

The Richy group is a leading retail apparel group targeted towards men, based in Saudi Arabia. Its products range from fabric and stitched apparel to accessories and homeware. Dtech Systems was tasked with bringing their bespoke ‘LaMode’ tailoring service to a global digital stage, ensuring that the luxury brand identity remained intact through every click.

Critical Roadblocks

Limited Product Interaction

For customized tailoring, visualizing a finished product on a static website is notoriously difficult. Richy faced limited accessibility and unfulfilled demand because consumers couldn’t “interact” with the bespoke options before purchasing.

Omnichannel Demand

Modern consumers prefer omnichannel shopping experiences. Richy lacked a platform that could mirror the high-touch, personalized experience of their physical showrooms within an e-commerce environment.

The Technical Solution: 3D Innovation

Virtual Thoub Try-Out

Dtech developed a custom 3D modeling feature that provides consumers with a virtual try-out experience. This tool allows users to:

  • Pick precise materials and fabric textures.
  • Select custom sizing and styling options.
  • View a 360-degree virtual representation of the finished product.

This innovation significantly reduced “perceived risk” for the consumer, overcoming the lack of interaction typically faced when shopping for high-end fashion online.

Luxury UI & Negative Spacing

We designed the website to be highly visual, using generous negative spacing to convey Richy’s luxurious brand identity. This “less is more” approach ensures the focus remains on the quality of the fabrics and the precision of the tailoring.

Magento 2 was selected as the core platform due to its enterprise-grade performance and high scalability. This choice allowed for:
